Description

1/6th tintype of an unidentified triple armed member member of what I believe is the 21st Indiana Light Artillery. Other possibilities would be the 21st Ohio LA and the 21st New York LA. Based upon a 21st Indiana image in a private collection, I believe this is also from the 21st Indiana. He's wearing a red-hued mounted service blouse and sports a saber and two revolvers- one on his hip with a sword belt and holster, the other in his hand. His hat shows artillery cannons and 21 when reversed. Comes housed in a half leatherette case with mat, glass, and foil.
